Congratulations gentlemen and thank you for your hard work and dedication.

Window Cleaning at Evelyn D Reinhart Guest House

The Evelyn D Reinhart Guest House serves visiting families of patients being treated at Bon Secours St Mary’s Hospital. The facility, located at 1100 Libbie Avenue in Richmond, Virginia, officially opened its doors to guests in June of 2014. The 14,000-square-foot building has sixteen guest rooms, plus a shared kitchen, dining room, living room, children’s playroom, community room and two laundry rooms.  In order to sustain the Reinhart mission, community partners like Scottie’s were approached by the executive director of the guest house. Scottie’s provides window cleaning services for the facility, which relies heavily on contributions to sustain the operation. We are happy that we were able to oblige when the folks at St Mary’s reached out to us.

Congratulations to our local winners and thank you for choosing Scottie’s as your preferred window cleaning vendor for these outstanding properties. Good luck!

Over the Edge for Special Olympics

It was a beautiful fall day in Charlotte to go over the edge for Special Olympics! Virginia Meltzer and friends successfully rappelled from the Fifth Third Center, fulfilling the challenge to help raise awareness and money for the organization. Rappelling from the 447-feet skyscraper wasn’t her only drop of the day. Virginia dropped $2,245 into Special Olympics’ coffers, far surpassing her goal of $1,000. Scottie’s has made a matching donation to Special Olympics as well. Congratulations Virginia! And thank you, to all who supported Special Olympics through Virginia’s efforts. Well done! Scottie’s Supports Special Olympics

Scottie’s Charlotte area rep, Virginia Meltzer, is often asked if she’s ever rappelled from a rooftop. She would like to do just that! If Virginia can raise $1,000 she will rappel from Fifth Third Center on September 27, in support of Special Olympics. Scottie’s has committed to match the donation Virginia raises. Special Olympics is an inspiring organization that transforms the lives of people with intellectual disabilities and Scottie’s has long been a supporter. If you have ever known someone with this type of disability, you understand that this organization can make a profound impact on the level of their confidence. You can help Special Olympics ensure that everyone has the chance to reach beyond their own limits! Any amount you are able to give would be very much appreciated.  Click here to donate and come watch that window washing girl rappel on September 27! Many thanks for your support!
