Rafael Herrera

Rafael Herrera is the Division Manager at Scottie’s in Charlotte, NC. He oversees day-to-day operations, coordinates with clients and vendors, implements best practices and policies, and ensures that services are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards. After moving to the USA, Rafael accumulated over 5 years of technical and customer service experience in various roles before transitioning into the building maintenance industry in 2019. At Scottie’s, he started as a Safety Director, then became an Assistant Operations Manager, and now serves as Division Manager. Rafael holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical maintenance engineering from Fermín Toro University (Venezuela) and is a certified MEWP trainer. He is pursuing an MS in Project Management, which he plans to start in January 2025. A marathon runner and former collegiate swimmer, Rafael enjoys swimming, loves coffee, and is a big fan of thrillers, movies, and true-crime documentaries. What he loves most about working at The Valcourt Group/Scottie’s is the drive to be the number one service provider in the industry.
